I’ve been asked a lot of questions along the lin

I’ve been asked a lot of questions along the lines of “how many weddings do you take a year? or a month?” And my answer just isn’t quite that simple.

I don’t ever think of it as “oh I’m only going to take x amount of weddings a year.” I know I need to not work weddings atleast 2 weekends a month. This gives me my much needed rest/breaks, allows me to keep on my turn around times, and makes sure I get to spend enough time with my husband and children. But, the weekends that I do work, I’m fine booking Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday or any variation of multiple days a week. Throw all the weddings and events at me that I can fit 2-3 weekends a month, just as long as I have my 2 weekends of breaks! 🤗

How blessed and lucky am I that I get to do this as a “job”?! There’s literally nothing better than getting to capture and be apart of one of the most important days of someone’s lives. It’s something that I think photographers and other wedding professionals become normalized to, but when you step back and think about it, wow is it special what we get to be apart of. 🫶🏼

Getting to eat bomb af meals and cake at work isn’t too bad either… 👀

Let me tell ya, I was nervous as heck for this session. As soon I pulled in, I noticed a huge storm cloud rolling up accompanied with lightning. But thankfully, no rain fell and we got dramatic skies and naturally wind blown hair (and dress)! ⚡️🌩️
